1-St Mary’s Ascension Day
St.Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Church, Kalamassery Celebrates 15th August, the Ascension day of St.Mary as the Main Festival of the Church. . On the festival day the Holy Soonoro is taken out of the casket by the priest during the Holy Querba for the adoration of believers.

2- Late lamented H.H Alias the III Patriarch Memorial Day
13th February is celebrated as a festival in memory of Late lamented H.H Alias the III Patriarch.

3-Late lamented H.G Geevarghese Mor Gregorious, Metropolitan of Parumala Memorial day
We celebrate 2nd November as a festival in commemoration of Late lamented H.G Geevarghese Mor Gregorious, Metropolitan of Parumala.

We celebrate Festivals of St.George in May and of St.Thomas (Dhukarono Perunal) in June Every Year.

The ancient practice of 8 day fast and the Feast of Virgin Mary's Birth are celebrated between September 1st and 8th of every year in the church. . During these days, Holy Querbana and Dhyanam are performed and many from adjacent churches and far corners seek the blessings of Virgin Mary. On the festival day of 8th September the Holy Soonoro is taken out of the casket by the priest during the Holy Querbana for the adoration of believers. Around this time all roads lead to Kalamassery which is located just 9 km south of the town of Alua and 12 km North of Ernakulum on NH 47.
